The OSU Extension Small Farm Team has announced that registration for the 2023 Small Farm Conference is now open.

The conference, titled “Sowing Seeds for Success,” will be held in Mansfield on March 11 and is designed for beginning and small farm owners, as well as those looking to diversify their operations. The conference will feature five tracks, including Farm Office, Horticulture and Produce Production, Livestock, Agritourism/Marketing, and Natural Resources.

Topics of discussion will include purchasing a family farm, food animal processing, beekeeping, and agritourism laws. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit a trade show featuring innovative ideas and services for their farming operations.

The conference will take place at the Mansfield OSU Campus in Ovalwood Hall from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and is easily accessible from I-71 and US Rt 30.
