Smiles are sure to appear when Kingwood Center Gardens reopens two of its attractions oriented toward its youngest visitors.

On Tuesday, August 30 at 4 PM, the Peacock Playhouse and the Storybook Trail will be officially reopened.

The Peacock Playhouse recently was refreshed and upgraded. The redesign and expansion of the venue will improve children’s experiences. First opened in 2017, and located in the old gatehouse on Kingwood’s Park Avenue corner, it features toys and activities to stimulate the senses.

On September 1 from 8:00 to 9:30 PM, Kingwood welcomes guests to a trip on the Storybook Trail by fairy light lantern. This fun, family night out will start on our trail and end with a campfire and s’mores. Please make sure to register all guests so that enough will be available for everyone.

You can register online here.

This in an open-house style program. Registered participants can come enjoy the event any time between 8:30 to 9:30 PM.
