It’s an annual opportunity to step back in time, listen to classic tunes, and who knows… maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of your 20-year-old self by a car from your past (or your parents’ past)!

The 25th annual Heart of the City Cruise In is set for this Saturday, August 27 from 8 AM to 4 PM. The streets of downtown Mansfield will again be lined with vintage automobiles with the adjacent sidewalks featuring family-friendly fare including an art show.

Show hours are from noon until 6:00 PM, with awards being given at 5:30 PM. Dash plaques will be available.

Whether you’re a serious collector, a longtime vintage vehicle fan or someone who just loves a sweet ride, you’ll fall in love with block after block of beautiful vintage cars, trucks and more, from the sleek black Model T or a creamy 1920 Packard Roaster, to a rare ‘64 Chevy Corvair Rampside or the classic ‘57 Chevy 210.  Live entertainment will also have a vintage flare, with hometown fave rockers Ohio Express, Music Explosion and The Cyrkle, along with cover band Departure – Journey and Classic Rock band from Ohio, taking the stage.

Registration is $15 and will take place from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pre-registration includes a free T-shirt. Please note that the streets will be closed at 6:00 AM that day. Show entry points are at S. Adams, S. Diamond, and Bowman Streets. The “Early Bird Entry” at Adams and Park Avenue East will be open at 6:00 AM.
