If you head for a shopping trip to Old Navy on Fourth Street in Ontario, you will soon find out that you are going to need to head a bit further north.

The relocated store, now at 2259 Walker Lake Road, opened with a ribbon cutting this past Saturday. It occupies the site of the former Bed, Bath & Beyond not far from Target.

The Bed, Bath & Beyond store closed several weeks ago as part of a 37 store, 19 state closing strategy. As it turns out, this shift – a new Old Navy moving to one of these closed locations – is not unusual; a similar relocation recently took place in Dayville, Connecticut.

Old Navy operates 1,106 stores from its San Francisco headquarters. A division of The Gap, Inc., its West Fourth Street location in Ontario opened on April 19, 2000, just six years after the chain was established.
