“It’s the most wonderful time of the year” for local snow and ski enthusiasts.

Snow Trails, Ohio’s premier skiing facility, is holding its opening weekend for its 61st season today and tomorrow. Currently, this is for season passholders only. On Monday, everyone is welcome with daily lift tickets available by advanced bookings online only.

Tubing is not yet available, with additional snowmaking required.

According to Snow Trails, snowmaking has produced “…massive amounts of snow. Weather cycles have been challenging and affected what was produced, however we have spread stockpiles and are holding enough snow to offer skiing and snowboarding to our season passholders  this weekend. Alpine Terrain Park will have 6 features.”
