When Richland Public Health shared its regular Monday update with the most current numbers for the COVID-19 pandemic, one number stood out.

Richland County now has six deaths attributed to the virus.

No additional information was shared by the agency in terms of that individual, including gender and age.

Additional numbers reported included the following:

  • Confirmed Cases — 376
  • Probable Cases — 14
  • Total Cases — 390
  • Cases WIth Recoveries — 276
  • Hospitalizations — 56
  • ICU Admissions — 19
  • Deaths — 6
  • Age Range — 6 months to 96 years with a media age of 38

The reported case numbers suggest that there are currently 114 active cases of COVID-19 among Richland Countians.

Across Ohio, those numbers stand as follows:

  • Confirmed Cases — 62,913
  • Probable Cases — 3,940
  • Total Cases — 66,853
  • Cases With Recoveries — 45,194
  • Hospitalizations — 8,915
  • ICU Admissions — 2,201
  • Deaths — 3,064

The next scheduled local update is set for Friday.
