The Renaissance Theatre will host the second of three Teddy Bear Concerts, Little Red Riding Hood, on Sunday, February 9 at 2:30 PM. The concerts are part of the Mechanics Bank Education Series.

The Little Red Riding Hood concert will take place at the Renaissance’s Theatre 166 venue with audience members sitting alongside the performers. Geared to children ages 2 through 10, each Teddy Bear concert offers an interactive element as well as a relaxed environment. Small audience sizes, lights up, and low sound levels as well as safe sensory-spaces allow audience members with autism to be accommodated at this performance.

The performance features the familiar story of Little Red Riding Hood, including all of the familiar characters, brought to life by Artistic Director Michael Thomas in an engaging musical adaptation which features audience participation, interactive storytelling with local actors, and live musicians featuring the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra’s Woodwind Trio.

Tickets are just $5 each and are on sale at the Renaissance Box Office, via phone at (419) 522-2726, and online at RenTickets.org. This performance has limited tickets available.

Additional support for the Teddy Bear concerts comes from Nationwide Children’s, Sharon Granter in memory of her late husband, Don, and the Ohio Arts Council.
