Why this Chicago corporate giant is suing a guy sitting in an Ohio jail
It’s not every day that one of the largest corporations in Chicago files suit against someone for fraud and trademark infringement-while that person is sitting in jail. Commercial insurer CNA Financial did just that with a Jan. 10 federal lawsuit against Anthony Hodel, who in the early 2000s ran one of the fastest-growing companies in Cleveland, an extended-warranty business called Platinum Warranty.
