The mission of the Richland County branch of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is to improve the quality of life, ensure dignity and respect for persons with mental illness, and to support their families.

To that end, two members of the NAMI staff recently went into downtown Mansfield to interview locals about their opinions on mental health.

The video can be viewed below, and it is worth a watch. This topic is not always discussed openly, and starting the flow of conversation is an important first step.

Note that there was an issue with the audio not matching the video at certain points, but not enough to distract from this interesting topic. For more information on NAMI Richland County, visit namirc.org.
