Mansfield City Schools has announced that its “Popular Annual Financial Report” (PAFR) for the year ending June 30, 2016 is now available on the District’s website.

“This report offers a reader-friendly overview of the district’s general operating activities and key financial data and trends,” District Treasurer Robert Kuehnle said. “The PAFR focuses on the district’s General Fund. The General Fund is the chief operating fund of the district and is used to account for all financial resources except those required to be accounted for in another fund. “The most significant items not reported in the General Fund include debt issuances, principal retirement on debt and permanent improvements,” Kuehnle said.

The PAFR includes a summary of income and expenses, as well as a detailed breakdown. Those overall numbers include the following:

  • Receipts & Resources (shown in thousands) — $57,910 (2016); $57,350 (2015); $52,893 (2014)
  • Disbursements & Services (shown in thousands) — $53,833 (2016); $53,301 (2015); $56,356 (2014)

The report also details District Accomplishments during that same period, including student academic achievements, technology upgrades, and other projects.
