There are a lot of great business ideas out there, but sometimes innovators lack the ability to turn their ideas into reality.  SunDown Group, which works to connect innovators with investors and mentors, will hold its next SunDown RunDown event on October 16 at Old Bag of Nails in Mansfield.

Doors open at 5:00 PM and pitches start at 5:30 PM.

Entrepreneurs should submit their idea online (you can do so here) prior to the event, and then expect to be contacted by a representative from SunDown Group. Everyone who has an interest in entrepreneurship is invited to be part of the audience. The innovators will have five minutes to pitch their ideas, and then receive feedback for five minutes.

In addition to feedback that can help the innovator firm up their presentation skills and be more confident in their idea, this event helps connect them to resources or people who can get them to the next step – whatever that may be.

One success story is Studio Stick, a portable recording studio created by  Brandyn Armstrong (aka Young Stacka) – Armstrong presented at SunDown RunDown in 2017 and went on to win $50,000 on the TV Show “Funderdome”; his Studio Stick will be available for purchase later this year.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
