RichHistory Weekend: The Ohio Civil War Show

The timing is terrific – at the same time that some 15 historic venues in Richland County will be open to the public during RichHistory Weekend, the 49th Annual Civil War Show and 25th Annual Artillery Show will be taking place at the Richland County Fairgrounds.

Spread out over seven buildings with an amazing 750 tables of military items and memorabilia to buy, sell, or trade, the show will also include a number of items from the periods of World Wars I and II. More…

Local Court Awarded Technology Grant

The Mansfield Municipal Court has been awarded a technology grant, Court News Ohio has reported.

The site shared that the Ohio Supreme Court announced on Wednesday that 70 local court projects had been awarded over $2.8 million in grant funding. These projects are in 64 courts in 42 counties. More…

Two Area Agencies Receive State Grants To Assist With Home Repairs

The State of Ohio announced this week that some 22 regional and local organizations have received grants to help low income Ohioans complete home repairs and receive homebuyer counseling.

In all, the Ohio Development Services Agency awarded approximately $4.57 million to support health and safety home repairs, improve handicapped accessibility, and provide down payment assistance. More…
