Spring Plowing Days at Malabar Farm State Park are almost upon us.

Taking place on May 20 and 21 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, this event features the beautiful and majestic draft animals that once were the mainstay of farming in early Ohio. The setting for this event is the rich, rolling countryside of Pleasant Valley, where agriculture has played an important role since the 1820s.

Malabar and the Central Ohio Draft Horse Association will once again team up for Spring Plowing Days. The event features teamsters and draft teams testing their skills in competition. All competitors must be members of the Central Ohio Draft Horse Association.

Fun contests will also be held, such as a box wagon obstacle course, log skidding contest and a fun pull.
