The next performance in the 2016-2017 St. Peter’s Music Series takes place at 3:00 PM this Sunday, when St. Peter’s School will host their annual Catholic Schools Week Concert in the High School Auditorium.

This concert features the musical and performance talents of students and staff. This perennial favorite will delight and inspire as St. Peter’s School family brings its considerable talents to bear. Admission is free and open to the public.

The series, which is now in its 12th Season, has become a vital and important part of the creative and performing arts community of North Central Ohio. This season the series will feature six events spanning from October to May.

The St. Peter’s Music Series reflects collaborations with several different arts organizations, singers, and musicians from around North Central Ohio. The goal of the performance schedule is to offer programming that has wide appeal.  As in past years, these performances are presented at little or no cost.

“Much time and attention is given to selecting cultural programs you will not find in the Mansfield area,” said Very. Rev. Gregory R. Hite, Pastor of St. Peter’s Parish. “St. Peter’s is pleased to offer our historic church as a performance venue.”

“We are so proud to offer access to the musical arts to everyone in our community,” said Bill Johnson, Artistic Director of the Music Series. “We are excited to collaborate once again with members of area choirs and groups like Mid-Ohio Opera.”

The Music Series is presented thanks to a gift from Charles P. Hahn and the Cleveland Financial Group along with donations from local businesses and St. Peter’s parishioners.
