The Main Library on West Third Street in downtown Mansfield has re-opened after a week’s closure to update its main entrance and Circulation Area.

New seating areas, new paint and carpets, and a new color scheme are featured.

The work done is consistent with the Mansfield-Richland County Public Library’s 2018-2019 Strategic Plan. In that document, the strategic goal to Foster Customer Relationships included an emphasis on “creating welcoming spaces.”

As a video shows posted to the Library’s Facebook Page this week, that is exactly what is on offer. You can view it here.

The Main Library has returned to its normal operating schedule: Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 8 PM; Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM; and Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM.
