The surest sign of spring and summer takes place this Saturday at the corner of Park Avenue West and Trimble Road.

That day, Kingwood Center Gardens opens its doors for the 2017 season. There to welcome you will be trumpet daffodils and other spring flowers.

The grounds are open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily, with the Greenhouse closing at 6:00 PM. Cost is $5 per car, and $2 for pedestrians and bicyclists.

Admission can pay for itself; with a $5 admission receipt, guests can receive $5 off the purchase of $25 or more at Kingwood’s Garden Shop, located inside the Greenhouse. Beverage and snack vending machines available near the restrooms in the Workshop building. Members and volunteers receive free dally admission, as well as 10% off Garden Shop purchases.

Kingwood Hall will open on May 8.
