Here’s a question for you: What’s very blue, very big, and very close to home?

It’s the annual Lexington Blueberry Festival, being held this year from Thursday through Sunday, August 17-20. Family fun abounds at the Festival with popular events such as the 5K and “Glow Run,” the Blue Lights & Bubbles Parade, pageants, car and bike shows, kids rides, craft vendors, live music, and fireworks on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Highlights include:

  • “Celebrating 15 Years of Community Excellence” Parade, Sunday at 2:00 PM
  • Richland Bank Treasure Hunt, Sunday at 3:30 PM
  • Big Wheel Race, Sunday following the Parade
  • Annual Car & Bike Show, Friday
  • Live music, including Just Jazz, Departure, Clark Manson, Jai Merina, Paragon X, UkAlaina, Turn it Up, and National Anthem

  • 2017 MISS Blueberry (ages 10-12)
  • 2017 MISS TEEN Blueberry (13-16)

Pageant is on Thursday, August 17th at 5:00 PM at Heartland Church and Friday, August 18th at 4:00 PM.

ALL CROWNINGS will take place on Friday, August 18th at 6:45 pm at Lexington Community Park on the Main Stage.
