Families are invited to celebrate Arbor Day by participating in the Keep Ohio Beautiful annual Great Ohio Planting Day on Saturday, April 29, at 10:00 AM at nearby Mohican State Park.

Columbia Gas of Ohio, The Davey Tree Expert Company, Mohican Lodge and Conference Center, Mohican Trails Club and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) are inviting the public to help ODNR staff and volunteers to beautify and enhance the Class A campground at Mohican State Park, which was recently impacted by the emerald ash borer. OSR Opens For 2017 Tour Season

The venerable Ohio State Reformatory has officially opened its doors for the 2017 tour season.

Through September 3, OSR is open for tours between the hours of 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, every day. Guided tours take approximately 1 ½ hours and are offred between June and August on Saturdays and Sundays. Special guided tours are also available, and more than one can be taken during a day’s visit. More…
