OSU Sees COVID Positivity Rates Quadruple; President Shares Guidance

The Ohio State University and its regional campuses are seeing COVID-19 numbers increase dramatically in a way that mirrors the rest of Ohio.

In fact, according to the OSU Office of Student Life, daily student positivity rates have quadrupled in the last two or three weeks. On one Tuesday, 141 positive cases were reported.

With this increase as a backdrop, OSU President Kristina M. Johnson has issued a letter addressed to The Ohio State University community. In it, she reviews current pandemic statistics for the State of Ohio, and then provides three pieces of immediate guidance while also discussing the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and winter break.
