This May, two shows on successive weekends will bring hundreds of visitors to the Richland County Fairgrounds.

Spread out over seven buildings with an amazing 750 tables of military items and memorabilia to buy, sell, or trade, the Ohio Civil War Show on May 4 and 5 will also include a number of items from the periods of World Wars I and II.

Other show features include:

  • 6-Gun Battery firing demonstrations
  • Sutler’s row
  • Civil War field hospital by the Society of Civil War Surgeons
  • Period church service Sunday morning with period string music
  • Abe Lincoln live presentations
  • Living History Campfire by Brigade of American Revolution, 8th Pennsylvania Regiment
  • Period music by Camp Chase Fife & Drums
  • Civil War and World War II encampments
  • $100 door prize daily

Admission is just $7 (children under 12 are free, as is parking).

Sunday, May 11 brings the Forty-First Annual Mansfield Antique Bottle Show, sponsored by The Ohio Bottle Club.

View between 50 and 100 exhibitors of vintage bottles and glass, all displayed on tables at the Fairgrounds. The show will run from 9 AM to 2 PM; general admission is $5.

Come the day before for a preview; the cost for early admission on May 10 is $35.
