Beginning this weekend, experience the charming comedy “Radio T.B.S. (Trailer Park Broadcasting Scandals)” by Mark Landon Smith at the Mansfield Playhouse.

The play is set in a make-believe Florida trailer park and features a lively cast of Southern women who are gearing up to create a drive-by nativity scene to pay homage to the Baby Jesus and, of course, Elvis. Ace radio reporters Vesta Poteet and Dixie Mandrell cover their noble mission, which is just the start of an uproarious and unconventional adventure that includes a church lady landlord attempting to expel a belly dance instructor and a beauty pageant for plus-size women dubbed “Miss Manatee.”

Learn what is happening around The Luna Del Mar Manufactured Home Oasis and Monkey Empire (very few of the monkeys are contagious) And what a jumpin’ place this trailer park is! There’s a visit to Graceland from roving’ reporter Missy Goode (and her unfortunate arrest by the security guards.

Sound like a fun romp? It certainly is!

Shows are March 10, 11, 17, 18 at 8:00 PM and March 19 at 2:30 PM. Tickets are available here.

Be sure to turn on the sound!
