The Richland Area Chamber became the new home for the ATHENA Award in 2016 after having been given out by the TWIN (A Tribute to Women & Industry) Committee in Richland County since 1989. The nominations were reviewed by a panel of past ATHENA Award recipients who then selected the three finalists and the recipient, who will be announced at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting.

In addition to the ATHENA Award, the Richland Community Development Group and Richland Young Professionals will be giving out several Economic Excellence Awards.

The dinner will be held on Thursday, January 30 at the Kehoe Center in Shelby. A cocktail hour kicks off at 5:30 PM and dinner, which is being catered by The Vault Wine Bar, will be served at 6:30 PM. The early bird ticket price of $45 is good through Wednesday, January 15. Sponsorship packages are also available. Those interested may call the Chamber office at 419-522-3211 or visit their website at www.RichlandAreaChamber.com for more information.
