What a difference a day makes!

Just a day after posting an update on its temporary closure which we shared on Wednesday morning, Snow Trails has announced that operations are returning to normal tomorrow, Friday, January 5.

A Fresh Start to the Ski Season

After a brief hiatus, Snow Trails Resort is ready to welcome back skiers and snowboarders from Noon to 9:00 PM on Friday. The reopening marks the beginning of regular hours throughout the weekend and the following week, ensuring ample time for winter sports enthusiasts to enjoy the slopes. The resort’s dedicated team of snowmakers and groomers have worked tirelessly, utilizing every possible hour for snowmaking to ensure the slopes are covered with the best quality snow.

Preparing for Your Visit

Guests planning a visit should note a few key recommendations. Given the ongoing snowmaking campaigns, it’s advisable to bring goggles and face coverings to stay comfortable. For those in need of gear, the Snow Trails Ski Shop offers a variety of sizes and brands, ensuring both style and comfort for a fun experience on the slopes.

Important Updates and Facilities

  • Hours and Conditions: Updated information regarding hours, conditions, trails, and available facilities can be checked on the resort’s daily snow report.
  • Available Features: A selection of trails, lifts as needed, and terrain park features will be open. However, tubing remains unavailable due to additional snowmaking requirements, with its opening day to be announced.
  • Booking Information: Advanced online bookings are required for daily lift tickets, as walk-ups will not be available.
  • Children’s Discounts: There’s a $10 discount on lift tickets and equipment rentals for children aged 6 to 12 years.
  • Offers for the Youngest: Children aged 5 and under can enjoy free access with an adult lift ticket purchase, along with a $10 saving on equipment rentals.

Operating Hours

  • Weekend Schedule: The resort will operate from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, January 6, and Sunday, January 7.

  • MLK Weekend Peak Days: Extended hours from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM will be observed from Friday, January 12 through Monday, January 15.
