On September 16, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, the heart of downtown Mansfield, Ohio will beat with a vibrant display of local creativity with the ManAfest Arts Festival. Previously known as the Mansfield Arts & Culture Festival, the event aims to create a platform for the artistic souls of the Richland County area to shine, to manifest a better world through their talent.

From “Mansfield Arts & Culture Festival” to “ManAfest”

The festival has undergone a profound transformation. The original name, though an accurate representation, was deemed a tad long-winded and, frankly, somewhat forgettable. Hence, the need for a change that encapsulated the spirit of the event, as well as the town, was keenly felt.

The solution? ManAfest — a name as bold and dynamic as the artists it represents. The name perfectly captures the essence of Mansfield, which is working on reinventing its future, and the transformative power of art. Manifestation, after all, is the essence of art.

A Celebration of Art and Community

The newly christened ManAfest aims to provide an exciting and vibrant stage for independent artists, crafters, and vendors to showcase their talent, their work, and their vision. More than a mere exhibition, the festival is also an opportunity for these creators to connect with their peers and potential customers, creating a lively and supportive network of like-minded individuals.

The event takes place outdoors in Central Park, allowing artists and visitors alike to soak in the scenic beauty of downtown Mansfield while enjoying a kaleidoscope of art, live music, and performances. It is a veritable feast for the senses, providing an enchanting atmosphere of community and creativity.

Join the Manifestation!

For artists looking to participate, the process is as straightforward as the festival’s mission: to give every artist a chance to shine. To join the ManAfest movement, all it takes is signing up for a booth rental on the festival’s application page, followed by a payment of the rental fee. Once that’s sorted, you’re in! It’s as simple as that.

For those seeking to participate as spectators, prepare to immerse yourself in the richness of local culture. Discover a range of art from a variety of disciplines, meet the talented creators behind the works, and perhaps even take home a piece of Mansfield’s vibrant arts scene.

For any questions or comments, Victoria, the dedicated festival coordinator, can be contacted at 419-610-4665. More details can also be found on their Facebook page at facebook.com/ManAfestOH.

Join ManAfest this September in Mansfield, and be a part of a manifestation of art, culture, and community unlike any other.
