In recognition of the tireless efforts of workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Renaissance Theatre has announced that it will offer a complimentary ticket voucher to employees of its partner businesses in these sectors. Vouchers may be redeemed for one ticket to any show in the 2020-2021 Renaissance season, which will be announced Friday, June 5th at 6:00 PM in a virtual “Season Preview” event.
“Our frontline workers show incredible commitment and selflessness every day, but have gone above and beyond to serve our community during this pandemic. We want to do something to show our appreciation and gratitude,” said Renaissance President Chelsie Thompson. “It is our hope that this small gesture will allow them to enjoy a well-deserved break.”
Full redemption information will be provided to existing Renaissance business partners to distribute to their applicable employees. In addition to existing partners, local businesses with workers who have served in frontline capacities can visit www.rentickets.org to submit an application to be included in the ticket program.
