Technically, the new OhioHealth Physician Group Primary Care facility in Plymouth, which hosted a ribbon cutting earlier this week, sits just over the border in Huron County.

As residents of Plymouth know well, however, the impact of the new facility will be felt throughout the community.

Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development was on hand to livestream the event at 25 Spring Street.

Patients will be able to obtain services related to preventative, wellness, and illness care; flu shots and other vaccines; physical exams, school and sports physicals; women’s health services; and management of chronic diseases and conditions.

The team of health providers –  Narcis Papadopol, MD, and Maria Zappa, PA-C – practice here and at the OhioHealth Shelby Hospital. Patients can choose which location best suits their needs.  Appointments can be made through OhioHealth MyChart app or by calling (567) 309-3000.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
