The B&O Bike Trail got even more user-friendly on Tuesday with the opening of the Trail’s new Maintenance Facility and Picnic Area in Lexington.

Richland County Park District and other officials joined Destination Mansfield and Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development in holding a ribbon-cutting at the site, located at 205 South Mill Street.

The facility and picnic area are behind the Lexington Community Church at 225 South Mill Street. Both buildings are located beside the trail just south of the Lexington Street Department headquarters and recycling drop-off area.
