For the first time since 2019 — and for the 52nd time in history — The Ohio State University Marching Band Alumni performed in Ohio Stadium and at Skull Session with the current marching band.

More than 600 alumni band members registered to take part when the Buckeye football team played Akron.

Marching band alumni performed in concert with the current band during the pregame and were part of a separate performance at halftime.

Party Rock Country Extravaganza was the theme of the halftime show. Songs included “My Kinda Party,” “Friends in Low Places,” and “Life is a Highway.”

Marching band formations included a country musician, a cowboy hat and two country fans line dancing.

The show culminated with the traditional quadruple Script Ohio.
