This week, State Representative Mark Romanchuk (R-Mansfield) presented a resolution on behalf of the Ohio House to the Mansfield Area Y in celebration of its 150th anniversary. His office released the following:

Since its establishment in 1867, this outstanding organization has ha”d an impact on countless lives and currently serves more than 10,000 members and 500 children in their pre-school and Early Learning Center. The Y advocates for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility and provides programs for all ages. The contributions from this organization are endless within the Mansfield community.

“The Y has always been a staple in the community and literally has something for everyone. With its long tradition of excellence, the Mansfield Area Y has made Richland County a better place to live and raise a family,” said Rep. Romanchuk.”

Rep. Romanchuk presented the resolution to Cristen Gilbert, President and CEO, and James Twedt, Vice President of Operations, during Wednesday’s Ohio House session.
