Our friends at Destination Mansfield – Richland County have shared the following look at events taking place next month as winter continues.

Tired of staring at the same four walls? Don’t wait for warm weather to get you out of the house! Our February calendar is filling up with opportunities to bundle up, mask up, and safely leave home to enjoy the best parts of life in Richland County.

Out on the Town

Shop our local merchants during First Friday Shop Hop (Feb 5) in Downtown Mansfield. Make a night of it with dinner at one of our downtown restaurants. Ski, snowboard, and snow tube into the night on the fully lighted slopes during President’s Day Extended Hours (Feb 12 -15) at Snow Trails. Warm up in the slope-side lodge or enjoy dinner at one of the two restaurants. Snow tubing is wildly popular, so make sure to make an online reservation to secure your spot.

A Different Sort of Date Night

Bring your sweetheart out to Salsa Night (Feb 18) or Trivia Night (Feb 25) at Kingwood Center Gardens. Make your own Valentine’s Day treat at a Valentine’s Day Cake Decorating Class (Feb 11) at 1803 Brewery & Taproom, or get your hearts pumping with a Public Ghost Hunt (Feb 6, 13, 20) at Ohio State Reformatory.

Art Out and About and at Home
