First Call 2-1-1, the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library, and AARP Foundation Tax-Aide have furnished a list of places that can provide free tax help to low and moderate income taxpayers, especially those 60 and older. This service is offered in conjunction with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Here are the dates and locations that have been announced:
- Mansfield Walk-Ins: Avenue Church (1756 Park Avenue West): Wednesdays beginning February 5, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Mansfield By Appointment: Hours and locations vary; call 2-1-1 (or 419-522-4636) to make an appointment.
- Shelby Walk-Ins: Marvin Memorial Library (29 W. Whitney Avenue): Mondays beginning February 2, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
