The Richland County Board of Elections has announced the following changes to polling locations commencing with the November 5  General Election. These changes were approved at the Board of Elections’ meeting of August 13 of this year.

These changes were necessary for a variety of reasons, including meeting Federal ADA requirements for polling place accessibility, our long-term goal of creating “Regional” Vote Centers to save tax-payers’ funds, and in one instance, due to the fact that the previous voting location was on lockdown 24/7 and made the accessibility for voters a problem.

Postcards have been mailed to every voter in these precincts, informing them of their new polling place location. For a complete list of polling places in Richland County, please visit the website at www.richlandcountyoh.us/boe

All of the Mansfield 3rd Ward voters will now vote at one location, which is the Crossroads Church at 1188 Park Avenue West in the Kroger/Taco Bell Plaza between the Trimble Road and Brookwood Way intersections. Public transportation is available to this location via the Richland County Transit. As always, signs and flags will be placed at each location on Election Day to designate the correct entrance for voters.

The precincts which will be voting at Crossroads Church include the following:

Man 3-A – formerly voted at Grace Episcopal Church, 41 Bowman St. (corner of Third St.)
Man 3-B – formerly voted at Grace Episcopal Church, 41 Bowman St. (corner of Third St.)
Man 3-C – formerly voted at First Presbyterian Church, 399 S. Trimble Rd.
Man 3-D – formerly voted at First Presbyterian Church, 399 S. Trimble Rd.
Man 3-E – formerly voted at Primrose Retirement Center, 1301 Millsboro Rd.

No further polling place changes will be made prior to the November 2019 Election or the Presidential Elections in 2020, unless extreme circumstances warrant additional changes.
