It’s not only the governmental sector that is experiencing changes in how business is conducted.

Later this month, a local company will take to the internet to hold its annual meeting of shareholders.

In a Thursday press release, the Gorman-Rupp Company announced a change in format for its Annual Meeting of shareholders. This change is being made “…due to the emergency public health impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and to support the health and well-being of the Company’s shareholders, employees and their families.”

The meeting date and time will not change — Thursday, April 23 at 10 AM.

In order to participate, shareholders need to be in that position by March 2, 2020, the record date.

Additional information, including contact information for participating in the Annual Meeting, is available at this location online.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
