Students in Mansfield City Schools will not be in school on Friday, October 13 as staff participate in the fourth of six professional development days during the 2017-2018 school year.

Friday also marks the end of the first grading period.

Administrators, teachers and support staff will attend training sessions focused on the district’s comprehensive plan for student success. The theme in each school is “Every Student, Every Day.”

Staff participated in three professional development days before the start of school on August 15, 16 and 17. Two additional professional development days are scheduled for December 20 and March 9, the end of the second and third grading periods, respectively. Students will not be in school on those days.
