ROAR, which stands for Real Opportunities for Achievement and Readiness, started this week at Mansfield Senior and Mansfield Middle School. The program is presented through the North End Community Improvement Collaborative (NECIC).
The program features “mini modules” which are free for Mansfield City Schools students in the 7th through 12th grades. The modules run weekly from September 11 through October 18.

Mini-modules include the following:

Mondays: West African Drumming and Dance from 3 to 4 PM in the Senior High Choir Room (Room 1709)

Tuesdays: Art Academy from 2:45 to 4:15 PM in the Art Room (Room 1702)

Wednesdays: Fundamentals of Programming (Computers) from 3 to 4 PM in the Middle School Computer Lab (Room 2210)

Thursdays: Stage & Screen Productions (Theatre Arts) from 2:45 to 3:45 PM in the Middle School Computer Lab (Room 2210)

Permission slips are in the Senior High and Middle School offices and are required. You must have a ride home after the activity. For more information, contact nyasha@necic-ohio-org or 419 525 3101.
