The 12th annual edition of the St. Peter’s Music Series continues to bring together the glories of architecture and the arts. Traditionally highlighted by collaboration with area artistic ensembles, the performances are usually presented with little to no cost for attendees.

Two of the scheduled events will take place between now and the end of 2016.

On Saturday, October 15 at 8:00 pm, Apollo’s Fire will present “A Night at Bach’s Coffeehouse” at St. Peter’s Church. This group of extraordinary musicians from Cleveland has performed for audiences internationally with four best-selling CDs on the Billboard Classical Chart. This performance includes Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos numbers 3, 4, and 5, as well as works by Telemann, Vivaldi, and Handel.  Tickets for this performance are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. Admission for St. Peter’s students is free with their Student ID.

Then, consistent with the celebration of the season, on Sunday, December 11 at 3:00 pm, St. Peter’s Choir in collaboration with the Mid-Ohio Opera company and other area choirs will present The Christmas Oratorio of Camille Saint-Saens at St. Peter’s Church. This work will provide an afternoon of seasonal wonder and joy for the approaching Christmas season.  Admission is free and open to the public.
