Each year, 1812Blockhouse provides regular weekend reports on road project work being conducted under the auspices of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) in Ashland, Crawford, and Richland Counties.

Such work is, of course, weather dependent, and so those reports take a hiatus during the winter months. With the imminent arrival of April, however, ODOT crews are taking to the streets to make repairs from winter road wear and to being new projects designed to improve local transportation. This past week, ODOT District 3 shared announcements of upcoming work in the three county area.

This is the first of those reports for 2024.
