James Kilbane, a multi-platinum selling Christian, gospel, country, and Irish folk singer, is set to make his first appearance in Bellville. The performance is scheduled for 7 PM on September 8 at the Pleasant Grove Community Church.

Since his rise to fame in 2004 through “You’re a Star”—Ireland’s answer to “American Idol”—Kilbane has been a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. With 13 albums and singles under his belt, Kilbane has not only conquered the Irish music scene but has also made a name for himself internationally.

Kilbane’s career trajectory has been nothing short of remarkable. After being the runner-up in Ireland’s national talent television show “You’re A Star” in 2003-2004, he has consistently released music that resonates with a wide audience. His unique blend of gospel, Christian, country, and folk music has garnered him numerous awards and accolades.

In recent months, Kilbane has been collaborating with Shalom World TV, a television broadcaster that reaches across five continents. His program, “Rewind with James Kilbane,” features 13 music shows, further solidifying his global reach. Grand Ole Opry legend George Hamilton IV even bestowed upon him the title “The Lone Ranger of country music,” a testament to his unique style and non-conformist approach to the industry.

The upcoming concert in Bellville promises to be a soul-stirring experience. Kilbane is expected to perform many of his popular songs, including “There is a Place,” “Mama’s Roses,” “Amazing Grace,” “One Day at a Time,” and “The Nazarene Song,” among others. The event is a love offering affair with a suggested optional offering of $10. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the church welcomes attendees from across all Christian traditions. For those interested in attending, further details can be obtained by calling 419-892-2951.

What sets Kilbane apart is his willingness to break the mold. While he has received numerous awards for his music, he has not always aligned his work or beliefs with the conventional practices of the Irish music industry. This non-conformist approach has allowed him to carve out a unique niche for himself, attracting a diverse fan base that spans multiple genres and continents.
