It’s the type of family-oriented, fun festival that they used to hold in years past. The 2022 Ontario Fourth of July Festival is bigger, better, and being held in a new location.

Marshall Park will be the scene for activity on Friday, June and Saturday, July 2.

Featured will be food (and lots of it with food eating contests included), music, games, s beer garden on Friday evening, a 5K run with $3,000 in cash prizes, a kids area, and a raffle where you can win a car!

Kicking off the festival Friday, July 1st, it is the Ontario Youth Sports – Milliron Auto Parts Land Regatta, the Ontario Car Show, and much more.

On Saturday at 3:00 PM it’s the Patriotic Pooch Parade followed by the annual Fourth of July Parade. At 4:15 PM our green friends will take park in the Ontario Lions Club Frog Jump.

There’s much more including, of course, a big fireworks display set to music to cap off the festivities.

For complete details, visit the Festival website here.

As for traffic and parking, Shelby Ontario Road will be closed all day at Dunlap Drive (Road through Park).  There are many options for parking;

  • The North Lot (High School) will be open and you must enter from the north (W. 4th St).
  • The South Lot (Middle School and Elementary) will be open with entry from Park Ave W.
  •  The Lower Lot in Marshall Park – enter from Rock Road.
