The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program at North Central State College has been named one of the best in Ohio by PracticalNursing.org.

According to the site, “When looking for an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program in Ohio, you should not only consider vocational centers and private nursing schools, but you should also consider community college-approved programs are available at all of these. We’ve reviewed pass-rates for the NCLEX-PN for 60 schools in the state-each approved for LPN licensure requirements. After careful consideration of all… data collected, we’ve created a ranked list of Ohio’s top 20 LPN schools.”

The review of LPN programs took a number of factors into consideration and applied the same to some 60 programs. The top 20 were then ranked, and North Central ranked as number three. The ranking methodology is spelled out on this page.
