As it is said, “Necessity is the mother of invention.” Or, in other words, when life gives one lemons, the best thing to do is to make lemonade.

That is just what’s happening at Kingwood Center Gardens this year. In a similar manner to the folks at the Renaissance Theatre downtown, Kingwood is moving activities outside — a beautiful place to be.

Their Live on the Lawn summer concert series is returning for a third year, providing free musical entertainment on the South Lawn. This year’s lineup has:

  • July 9 – Acoustic Superfriends
  • July 16 – Paradigm
  • July 23 – Tom’s Kitchen Table
  • July 30 – Bullit Band

As shared by Kingwood:

“Free admission at the Linden Road gate begins at 6:00 PM with the concert beginning around 7:00 PM. Visitors need to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Buehler’s Food Truck, Ferris, will also offer a variety of food options available for purchase.

Visitors attending Live on the Lawn are encouraged to park on Linden Road, at Mansfield Senior High School, or at the corner lot at Linden and Park Avenue West. For those needing assistance, a golf cart shuttle will be available from the Linden Road gate to the South Lawn.

Live on the Lawn is presented by: Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center and sponsored by Richland Bank/Park National.”
