Across Ohio, business of almost all types are beginning to reopen with patron and guest safety in mind. With this relaunch, the traditional call to “shop local” takes on added significance.

Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development is making sure that Richland Countians are aware of businesses reopening. To that end, the month of June has been named Richland County STRONG month.

Through the month, the Chamber will be traveling around the county to celebrate with community ribbon cuttings and promote the “Save Small Business Challenge”. This challenge was created to encourage you to shop small in our 10 Richland County communities to help them get back on their feet after the pandemic closures.

On Wednesday, the villages of Plymouth and Shiloh held their ribbon cuttings (see below).
