Do you have a child or multiple children under the age of 12? Do you have unmet childcare needs that you want to see addressed?

The Mansfield Y and the North End Community Improvement Collaborative (NECIC) are calling on the community’s parents and caretakers to tell them about these needs by completing a survey. The survey is completely anonymous and will take only 5 minutes.

The two organizations are doing this research to understand the challenges that the community’s parents and caretakers face.

What are the most common struggles to finding good childcare? What time(s) of the day do people most urgently need it? What are the transportation needs with respect to getting children to and picking them up from the place of childcare? These are just a few examples of what NECIC and the Mansfield Y want to learn through this study.

NECIC and the Mansfield Y will use the results from this survey to better align childcare services to the needs of the community and therefore ask that respondents share the survey with fellow parents. The survey can be completed at this link — conta.cc/2EyjtlB.

These organizations greatly value your input for this endeavor. Your help will allow them to meet the childcare needs of our community’s hard-working parents and caregivers. They can’t do this work without your voice.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
