It was a misty and occasionally wet morning and noon hour Saturday on the streets of downtown Mansfield, but the weather failed to have a chilling effect on throngs of children and their families.

The annual Monsterfield Masquerade saw dozens of merchants and businesses participating in Trick-or-Treat. At noon, the Halloween Parade stepped off from the corner of North Main and Fifth Street, heading up the hill toward Central Park. Bands from St. Peter’s, Madison, and Senior High Schools participating.
