Award Winning Gingerbread Enhanced With Candy Canes

It took them a week and a half but the talents of three Mansfield Senior High culinary arts students produced an award-winning gingerbread house at the recent IX Christmas Connection in Cleveland.

Juniors Le’Daeja Lindsay, Gina King and Deajah Haney earned second place among approximately 18 entries at the IX Center – and a $300 check for the culinary arts program. More…

Tygers Receive Post Season Honors

Tyger football standout Jornell Manns, the Ohio Cardinal Conference Offensive Player of the Year, leads a number of Mansfield Senior High fall sports athletes who have earned OCC and district post-season honors.

Manns led the Tygers to an 8-3 record and a share of the conference title, scoring 37 touchdowns while accumulating nearly 2,000 yards of total offense. He has committed to the University of Minnesota. More…



Combined Choir Concert To Honor Military Veterans

The choirs of Mansfield Senior High and Mansfield Middle School will present “America,” a tribute to military veterans at 7 PM on Thursday, November 9.

The free program in the auditorium will be led by vocal music director Dirk Eachus and vocal music teacher Dalton Phillips. “The concert will be a tribute to those who serve,” Eachus said. “Members of the armed forces will be represented during the program.” More…

Senior Playoff Tickets On Sale Today

The Mansfield Senior High Tygers will travel to Bay Village Friday to meet the Rockets in the opening round of Div. III football playoffs. Game time is 7:30 PM at 29230 Wolf Road in Bay Village.

The Tygers (8-2) are seeded seventh in Division III, Region 10. The Rockets (10-0) are ranked second. More…



Mansfield Senior Students Heading To SkillsUSA Leadership Conference

A major effort to advance the Career Tech Education program at Mansfield Senior High will begin next week when a Tyger delegation attends the SkillsUSA Ohio Fall Leadership Conference in Columbus.

New Tyger Girls Varsity Coach Optimistic About Soccer At MSHS

The new girls varsity soccer head coach at Mansfield Senior High School has a plan to build the program in the years ahead — on and off the field — and he’s counting on his senior captain to play a major role in getting it started this season.
