Mansfield Police Seek Assistance; Release Robbery Video

On Monday afternoon, the Mansfield Police Department issued the following call for assistance in finding a robbery suspect:

On Sunday, November 12, 2017, between the hours of 6:00pm and 6:20pm, two businesses in our city were robbed within .6 of a mile of each other. Mansfield Police Department To Receive Overdose Response Funds

Ohio Senate President Larry Obhof has announced funding awarded for special response teams aimed at putting drug overdose survivors on the path to recovery.

Consisting of highly trained law enforcement and drug treatment providers, DARTs (Drug Abuse Response Teams) and QRTs (Quick Response Teams) provide support and consultation to overdose survivors. The specialized response teams offer counseling and referrals to drug rehabilitation facilities so those struggling with addiction can find the help necessary for successful recovery. More…

Mansfield Division Of Police Announces Arrests In Shooting Incidents

The Mansfield Division of Police announces the arrests of two individuals believed responsible for shooting incidents within our city.

On Saturday April 8, Mychael Martin (B/M/26) was arrested in Pensacola, Florida by members of the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Task Force on a “Felonious Assault” warrant out of this agency. Mr. Martin was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. He is a suspect in a shooting a few weeks ago in which the victim was shot several times. More…

Police Seek Information In Reference To Homicide

At 8:26 AM on Thursday, the Mansfield Division of Police responded to 1247 Dillon Rd in reference to a call about a “person possibly in distress” at that location.

Upon Officers’ arrival, they found Denise Reed, a 45 year old white female, inside the residence, deceased. Also located inside the residence was Mrs. Reed’s husband, Michael J. Reed, a 46 year old white male, who was taken into custody in reference to this investigation. More…
