On Saturday, June 8, take the opportunity to run not only through roses, but also scores of other flowering plants as Kingwood Center Gardens hosts its 10th Annual Family 5K Run/Walk.
Brought to you by Ohio Health, the event will take runners and walkers through charming gardens and the surrounding neighborhood. Participants of all ages are welcome.
Registration begins at 7:45 AM, and the race starts at 9:00 AM. Awards will be made at 10:00 AM. If you register on or before Wednesday of this week, the fee is $20; that increases to $25 on Thursday.
Official race day t-shirts are guaranteed for all early registrants. Music and refreshments will be on hand, and free admission to Kingwood is available for all registrants after the race concludes.
