About The Women’s Fund

Since 2018, The Women’s Fund has allocated tens of thousands of dollars in grants to local initiatives tackling issues from domestic violence to youth programs. The Shelby Foundation also granted nearly $800,000 in 2022 to support transformative projects across Shelby and Richland County. These funds have enhanced areas as diverse as arts and culture, health and wellness, and economic development.

Apart from financial support, The Shelby Foundation actively engages with the community by sponsoring events like family fun nights and hosting educational lectures. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to empower local nonprofit leaders through ongoing education and support.
