Lexington Schools is offering a free outdoors science camp for Lexington students who have completed Kindergarten through Sixth Grade,

The LEXplore Science Camp was first held back in 2019 and is being brought back this year. During the two week event, students become scientists as they participate in hands-on science experiment, explore science concepts in a new way, and work in a creative environment that ignites a curiosity for science as they explore nature.

Registration for the July 26 August 8 event must be done before June 25. Some additional details:

  • Time and Place: 8 AM to 11 AM or Noon to 3 PM at Eastern Elementary
  • Transportation and Food: Transportation is not provided but the district will provide a snack and bottled water each day.
  • Registration: As class sessions meet the maximum enrollment the session will no longer show as an option to register. If registering more than one student, please register each student separately. Please register your child for the grade level he or she has just completed.
