Just as spring is peeking around the corner, local institutions are ramping up seasonal offerings.

That includes the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District, which has announced that its Spring Pond Fish Sale has begun. Black Crappie is back, as well as Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Hybrid and Redear Bluegill, Channel Catfish, White Amur, and Fathead Minnows.

Order and payment for fish is due by April 21, and the pick up date is April 28.

Additional information about the sale as well as a printable order form is available at this site.
